DHI proudly presents the MIKE by DHI 2009 software
The 2009 version of MIKE by DHI software is now officially released! Release 2009 is not only a solid step towards greater usability, flexibility and seamless integration. It also follows the increasingly important trend in modelling - the need for integrated approach, which incorporates various aspects of a project being managed within the same modelling framework.

Yet again many new important features have been added and likewise significant performance improvements have been made, which will further help our users and inevitably push the boundaries of modelling even further. Release 2009 will undoubtedly help the MIKE by DHI users win and complete even more projects successfully.

DHI is thrilled to announce the release of the first truly integrated flooding package that accommodates simultaneous urban and fluvial flooding by way of very flexible 3-way coupling of the two 1D models for sewer and river networks and the 2D overland flow model providing flow transfers and feedback mechanisms between all three components.

Release 2009 continues the introduction of parallel processing for the most computational demanding packages. Likewise all marine engines are now available in true 64-bit versions with associated improvements for large model simulations.

Modelling of floods in urban areas is now made even easier through the full integration of the MIKE FLOOD 2D overland flow component into the MIKE URBAN modelling suite. Our many urban users may also benefit from new features and enhancements of the water distribution part of MIKE URBAN.
